Celtic thrashed Slovan Bratislava 5-1 at Parkhead to make a perfect start to their league phase campaign in the new-look Champions League.
The Hoops led at the break thanks to a Liam Scales header and doubled their lead through Kyogo Furuhashi early in the second half. Record signing Arne Engels quickly added the third goal from the penalty spot as Celtic dominated.
Slovan pulled one back through Kevin Wimmer but goals from Daizen Maeda and Adam Idah sealed a memorable victory for the William Hill Premiership leaders.
Next up for Celtic in the Champions League is a trip to Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday October 1.
