Football Memories project

The charity Alzheimer Scotland has launched a new website footballmemories.org.uk, where you can read other supporters' football stories and contribute your own

What is your favourite football memory? Is it your first game? A special goal or trophy win?

Maybe your best memory is of meeting your favourite player away from the game, or going to the ground with your father, or grandfather, the way so many of us did.

The charity Alzheimer Scotland has launched a new website footballmemories.org.uk, where you can read other supporters' football stories and contribute your own. You can share your favourite memory, or even write about the highlight of your own playing career – whether it was with your school team, on the five-a-side pitches or even on the X-box!

While you're on the site, please check out the great research the charity's Football Reminiscence Project is doing to help improve the quality of life of people with dementia by talking about football, and learn about the simple ways you can help by sharing your love of the game.
