Forfar have signed midfielder Jamie McCluskey on a short-term deal until early January after he impressed in three games as a trialist for Dick Campbell’s League 1 side.
The 25-year-old was released by Dundee at the end of last season and has previously played for Hibernian, St Johnstone, Wrexham, St Mirren and Clyde.
Forfar will lodge the paperwork with the Scottish FA on Friday to allow him to play in Saturday’s William Hill Scottish Cup third-round tie with East Fife.
