Scott Brown's side were two goals up at the interval thanks to Jay Henderson and George Oakley and Henderson made it 3-0 early in the second half.
Anton Dowds then grabbed a double, the second from the penalty spot, to complete a memorable victory for the Honest Men at Somerset Park.
In tonight's other game, it finished 1-1 between Queen's Park and Livingston at the City Stadium. Zak Rudden opened the scoring for the Spiders but Matthew Clarke equalised for Livi.
