New signing Esmael Goncalves, Paul McGowan and Steven Thompson scored the goals for Saints in a 3-2 win at the National Stadium.
Craig Samson saved Charlie Mulgrew’s penalty to help Danny Lennon's side reach the final and they went on to beat Hearts 3-2 to lift the trophy.
