Dumbarton’s 26 year old former Clyde, Hamilton Accies, Dundee and Alloa Athletic winger Mark Gilhaney faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after undergoing surgery to have his appendix removed.
Sons boss Alan Adamson said, “Mark was beginning to have a real influence here and scored twice against East Fife recently so missing him will be a blow.”
