Stirling Albion goalkeeper David Crawford who injured a thigh muscle when the Binos drew 1-1 with Rangers at the end of February and has not featured since is closing in on his comeback.
The former Queen’s Park, Dumbarton, Alloa, Ayr United, Clyde and Montrose shot-stopper had impressed since joining the Forthbank club from the Gable Endies in January and he is now able to kick a ball again without feeling pain.
Stirling boss Greig McDonald said: “David has been great since joining us and it is good that he is close to fitness again, however Sam Filler has done well in his absence.”
“I may have a tough call to make soon.”
