Dons confirm replacement for Stephen Glass

Aberdeen have appointed Jim Goodwin as their new manager following the recent departure of Stephen Glass after less than a year in charge.

The 40-year-old makes the move from St Mirren on a contract until the summer of 2024 and will be assisted at Pittodrie by Lee Sharp.

Chairman Dave Cormack told the club website: "Jim is a young, successful manager, who is ambitious and relishing the opportunity to bring success to the club.

“He fully embraces our vision and strategy and, on behalf of everyone associated with Aberdeen Football Club, we welcome Jim as our new manager.”
