Georgios Samaras broke the deadlock early on and substitute Dylan McGeouch rounded things off with his first goal for the club as Neil Lennon's side made it four straight wins in the SPL.

Hearts ended a four-game goal drought to beat bottom club Inverness CT 2-1 at Tynecastle. Rudi Skacel opened the scoring early in the second half and Eggert Jonsson claimed the winner with 15 minutes remaining after a Ross Tokely goal had hauled the visitors level.

Steve Lomas guided St Johnstone to a 3-1 victory over Hibernian in his first home game as manager, as new Hibs boss Pat Fenlon watched from the stand. Richie Towell gave the Edinburgh club the lead but Francisco Sandaza, Marcus Haber and Dave Mackay turned the game round.

Aberdeen battled back to earn a point in a thrilling 3-3 draw at fellow strugglers Dunfermline. The Dons went ahead through Andrew Considine late in the first half but goals from Andy Barrowman, David Graham and Liam Buchanan had the Pars in command. Alex Keddie's own goal gave Craig Brown's men hope and Josh Magennis equalised late on.

Motherwell and Dundee United played out a 0-0 draw in difficult conditions at Fir Park.
