Hearts sign Washington

Heart of Midlothian have announced the signing of striker Conor Washington on a two-year contract.

The 27-year-old Northern Ireland internationalist moves to Tynecastle after helping Sheffield United earn promotion to the English Premier League.

Washington, who has also played for Newport County, Peterborough United and Queens Park Rangers, will wear the No 9 jersey for Craig Levein’s side in 2019/20.
