Hibernian held on against a battling Hamilton side on Friday night in Leith. Hibernian sailed into a three goal advantage as Kevin Nisbet first fired home a free-kick before turning in a second, with Paul Hanlon adding a third just after an hour. Hamilton were initially denied a route back into the game as Marciano stopped Ogkmpoe's penalty, but a second penalty was tucked away by Ross Callachan before Ryan Porteous nodded in an own goal with five minutes to go.
