Hibs reach the UECL play-offs

A dramatic night of UEFA Conference League football saw Hibernian progress to the play-offs but Dundee United suffered a penalty shoot-out defeat.

Hibs lost 3-2 to Partizan Belgrade at Easter Road but went through 4-3 on aggregate thanks to a stunning strike from Kieron Bowie and an extra-time goal from Chris Cadden.

David Gray's men now face Legia Warsaw as they aim to clinch a league phase spot.

Dundee United led Rapid Vienna 2-0 at half-time thanks to a Max Watters double but the visitors hit back after the break as it finished 2-2 on the night and 4-4 on aggregate.

It all came down to penalties, with Rapid winning the shoot-out 5-4.
