Hibs win Edinburgh derby

Hibernian defeated Heart of Midlothian 2-1 in Sunday's Edinburgh derby to extend their unbeaten run to 15 matches in all competitions.

Martin Boyle fired David Gray's men ahead after just six minutes at Easter Road but Jorge Grant lashed in the equaliser three minutes later.

Jack Iredale settled the game in Hibs' favour with a superb strike in 74 minutes as the hosts climbed to third place in the William Hill Premiership table.

Aberdeen hit back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Dundee United at Pittodrie and stay a point ahead of their rivals in the battle for European places.

Vicko Sevelj gave Jim Goodwin's team the lead and Sam Dalby got the second but Kevin Nisbet pulled one back in 75 minutes and Nisbet dramatically equalised in stoppage time.
