St Mirren have signed striker Dale Hilson on a six-month contract following his departure from Championship rivals Queen of the South.
The 24-year-old began his career at Dundee United and had a number of spells on loan at Forfar before moving to Palmerston.
Saints No 2 James Fowler told the club website: "We've had him in over the last week and he's looked sharp and really impressed the other players."
