Annan midfielder David Hopkirk received good news after a recent x-ray on his broken metatarsal with Manager Jim Chapman hoping that the former Hamilton Accies and Queen of the South player could return next month.
Chapman said: “David’s x-ray has shown that everything has fused together perfectly and he can step up his training ahead of a comeback. He needs two weeks of running and two weeks of building him up so he could return late February or early March.”
“That is a huge boost to us.”
