Morton boss Allan Moore has abandoned plans to bring Slovakian attacking midfielder Tomas Kamenca to the club to join countrymen Michal Habai and Tomas Pecier.
Kamenca played alongside defenders Habai and Pecier in pre-season and talks over a deal were reignited a fortnight ago, but they are now off after he picked up a hamstring injury.
Moore said: “We were still keen on Tomas but he has been ruled out for up to three months so that deal is dead now.”
