Inverness CT Flybe Santa flight takes off

Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC teamed up with main sponsor Flybe last week to provide a Christmas flight for 18 lucky children from Raigmore Hospital. 

The Christmas treat saw the children taken on a specially chartered flight accompanied by Santa Claus and club mascot Nessie. 

Inverness CT first team players Ross Tokely, Andy Barrowman, Dougie Imrie, Ian Black, Michael Fraser, Iain Vigurs and Dale Gillespie also joined the fun. 

Club Commercial Manager Darren MacKintosh said: "Everyone had a fantastic time. We are truly grateful to our main sponsor Flybe for making this happen. 

"We pride ourselves as a community football club and when we can help give something back and take these special boys and girls on the flight of their lives, it makes Christmas extra special."
