Former Gretna, Morton and Stenhousemuir manager David Irons is back in football a year after leaving Ochilview after his commitments clashed with his new career as a Police Officer.
Irons has teamed up with the former Raydale Park Director of Football Mick Wadsworth to take charge Northern League Division One side Celtic Nation who are based in Carlisle.
Irons has spent his time away from management scouting for Carlisle whereas 62-year-old Wadsworth has been out of football since being sacked by Hartlepool United last season.
Celtic Nation, who play in green and white hoops, were formed in 2004 as Gillford Park Spartans before becoming just Gilford Park with their final name change happening in 2012 when they were promoted to Division One.
