Nine sides progressed to the KDM Evolution Trophy Round of 16 as several William Hill Championship sides made impressive debuts.
Jai Rowe hit a hat-trick as Raith Rovers defeated Hamilton Accies 5-2 at Stark's Park while Ross County were convinving 4-0 winners over Celtic B in Dingwall. Airdrieonians, Arbroath and Ayr United were made to work hard to make it through. Airdrieonians edged out Alloa 3-2, Arbroath overcame a stubborn Kelty Hearts side 3-2 while Ayr were on the right side of a 2-1 triumph.
Greenock Morton were the only second tier casualties on the night with Stirling Albion winning a penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw at Forthbank.
Stenhousemuir got the better of Annan Athletic 2-0 at Ochilview while Stranraer claimed a great 4-1 win over fellow William Hill League 2 side, East Kilbride. Forfar Athletic are also in the hat for the next round after winning a shoot-out against Edinburgh City following a 1-1 draw.
The round of 16 draw is scheduled to take place on Thursday 11 December at 1pm.
