Kyogo Furuhashi has signed a contract extension with Celtic until 2027.
The Japan international was the cinch Premiership’s top scorer in 2022/23 and finished with the cinch SPFL Golden Boot after hitting 27 goals as Celtic won the domestic treble.
Now the forward will work with new Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, who praised the attacker’s contribution.
He told the club’s website: “It is brilliant news for the club. Kyogo is an important player for us so I am delighted he has signed a new contract.
“He is an exciting player who is hungry to bring more success to our club. He has a great mentality and is an unbelievable talent.
“I am looking forward to working with him and helping him and the wider team develop to help drive the club forward.”
