League Cup final approach routes

The drivers of all supporters’ coaches, irrespective of size and including minibuses, should adhere to the following police instructions. These are the Police Scotland recommended routes for supporters attending this event with officers deployed at specific areas to assist with traffic flow. Any deviation from these routes may resort in increased traffic congestion adding to your inconvenience.

Information for supporters travelling to Sunday's Scottish League Cup final between Aberdeen and Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Celtic Park, kick-off 2.30pm.

SUPPORTERS’ COACHES

Inverness Caledonian Thistle Supporters’ Coaches
Inverness supporters’ coaches should travel on the M80, exit at Junction 4 onto the M73, exit the M73 onto the southbound M74 (signposted for Glasgow). Exit the M74 at junction 2A, at the roundabout on the off-ramp take the 3rd exit. At the following roundabout take the 1st exit onto London Road. Continue west along London Road towards the stadium. Coaches will be directed to park on the south side of the westbound carriageway of London Road, close to the Celtic Supporters’ Club located there.


Aberdeen Supporters’ Coaches
Aberdeen coaches should travel to Glasgow on the M80, exit at Junction 1, turn left onto Provan Road. Continue Provan Road, turn right onto Cumbernauld Road. Continue on Cumbernauld as it veers right. Turn left onto Alexandra Park Street (8th street on the left), continue as this becomes Millerston Street. They should thereafter turn left onto Gallowgate (4th street on the left) and proceed along this towards the stadium, and will be directed onto Holywell Street, where they will park. “Please note only coaches displaying an official coach park pass will be allowed access to this coach parking area. COACH PARKING PASSES CAN BE OBTAINED ON APPLICATION TO ABERDEEN FC.  All other coaches/minibuses will be directed to park in Nuneaton Street, off the London Road.

PRIVATE TRANSPORT

Car Parking

Both Clubs - There are no parking arrangements for cars in the immediate vicinity of the Stadium. Parking is controlled by a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (coned areas). A tow-away scheme is in operation for illegally parked vehicles. Persons with disabilities displaying a valid Disabled Parking Badges on their vehicles will be permitted to park in disable parking spaces. There are 30 spaces located within the Holywell Street coach park, and a further limited number of disable available at the stadium, adjacent to Kinloch Street. These will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

From the North
Supporters should follow the directions provided for the Inverness Supporters’ coaches, and thereafter find a suitable parking space.

From the East
Supporters should travel to Glasgow on the M8, exit at Junction 13, turn left onto Provan Road. Continue Provan Road, turn right onto Cumbernauld Road. Continue on Cumbernauld as it veers right. From the South

From the West
Supporters should travel to Glasgow on the M8, exit onto the M74, exit the M74 at junction 1A, at the off-ramp take the first left and then 1st right onto the A728 Clyde Gateway Road, continue on this towards the stadium, and thereafter find a suitable parking space.
