The season is over for Alloa’s on-loan Partick Thistle defender Liam Lindsay due to a knee injury however there was some good news for the 18 year old.
Lindsay has played 12 times for the Wasps this season and it was feared that Lindsay was set for a lengthy spell on the side-lines however manager Barry Smith was glad to advise that was not the case.
Smith said: “Liam has been out for a couple of weeks now due to a knee injury and there were fears that he would be out for quite a few months. However I was pleased to learn that is not the case.”
“He will not play again for us during this loan spell but he should be ready for the new season which is great news for the kid.”
