Dumbarton manager Ian Murray took his re-signings to 14 when former Cowdenbeath defender Scott Linton agreed to a second season at the Bet Butler Stadium.

The 24-year-old long-throw specialist, who made 34 appearances last season and scored once, has agreed to a new deal for 2014/15.

Boss Ian Murray said: “I am happy to have Scott available again for what will be a very exciting season in the Championship.”
