Arbroath have been dealt an early season blow with the news that new signing Ricky Little will miss at least a month after being injured in the early stages of Saturday’s penalty kick Ramsdens Cup defeat from Stenhousemuir.
The former Queen’s Park defender limped off after just 7 minutes at Ochilview and it has been confirmed that Little has broken the same bone as the one that ended his Spiders career early back in April.
Gayfield boss Paul Sheerin said: “Ricky’s injury caused an early re-shuffle on Saturday but it is more disappointing that he will be out for a really busy part of the season.”
