Full back Paul Lovering’s career has now turned full circle with the former Clydebank, Hibs, Ayr United, St. Johnstone and Airdrie United completing his move back to the Junior ranks with Pollok 18 years after leaving Neilston.
The 36 year old has spent the last 8 seasons at the Diamonds in a career that saw Lovering feature in nearly 500 games.
Other seniors to make the move to the Junior ranks this week are David McGowan who has joined Beith from Montrose, Falkirk’s Ally Graham who has moved to Clydebank and Lovering’s former Airdrie team-mate Graeme Goodall who is now a Shotts Bon Accord player.
Other moves have seen Stirling’s John Crawley join Thorniewood, Jordyn Sheerin swap East Stirling for Camelon, Annan’s Danny Mitchell join Glenafton, Dundee United’s Marc Scott opt for Carnoustie, Sean Murdoch join Kirkcaldy from East Fife and Grant Howarth move to Beith from Dumbarton.
