Falkirk Technical Director Alex Smith is not surprised to hear a number of clubs are chasing Bairns striker Rory Loy.
Reports emerged over the weekend that the 26-year-old former Rangers and Carlisle forward was being tracked by Championship outfits in England and top-flight sides in Scotland.
Smith said: “It is not a shock as Rory has been terrific for us this season and is fulfilling the potential he had when he was a youngster.
“He hit a glass ceiling at Rangers, where he could see the first team but was not given a chance in it, before he moved to Carlisle. When he was down there he got his leg broken and was released before his rehabilitation was complete.
“He has shown here that he is another young player who can develop if given the right opportunities and support. He is tied to us for another year so he will not be leaving for nothing in the summer.”
