Lumsden keeps boots handy

Albion boss to have playing role

Todd LumsdenRecently appointed Albion Rovers boss Todd Lumsden is going to be keeping his boots handy for the Second Division side.

The 34-year-old central defender has played more than 350 games in his career for Stirling Albion, Hamilton Accies, Raith Rovers as well as two spells with the Coatbridge side and he could pick himself to add to that total next season.

Lumsden said, “I will be doing a normal pre-season and will be signing myself as a player. I enjoyed playing last season and want to continue although I am hoping that it may just be the odd appearance as opposed to playing every week.”
