Alloa manager Allan Maitland is continuing to monitor former Rangers, Partick Thistle, Clyde and Ayr United player Billy Gibson’s fitness as the defender looks to win a deal at Recreation Park.
Maitland said, “Billy’s fitness is improving but he has not had much in the way of games. Hopefully he will be fit for the start of the season and we can take things from there.”
