Ross County have parted company with manager Malky Mackay after two-and-a-half years in charge in Dingwall.
County sit in 11th place in the cinch Premiership after 12 matches following Saturday's 1-0 defeat to St. Johnstone.
Mackay led the club to a place in the top six in his first season in charge before a dramatic play-off final comeback against Partick Thistle preserved their top flight status in season 2022/23.
The club said the decision was reached after a meeting with chairman Roy MacGregor and chief executive Steven Ferguson.
MacGregor said: “Malky has brought so much more to the club and the wider staff than just football management.
"The board would like to put on record our thanks for his contribution over the last 2 ½ years and wish him all the best in the next chapter of his career.”
