The Scottish Premier League is recruiting a Marketing & Communications Intern.
Initially this will be a three-month internship, starting immediately, with the possibility of a longer term opportunity, depending on performance. It is an excellent chance for someone looking to work in professional sport in one of the highest profile sporting organisations in the country.
Reporting to: Marketing & Communications Manager
Main Working Contacts: Commercial Partners, SPL Club commercial & media staff, Suppliers, SPL Staff
Remit: To assist the Marketing & Communications Manager in delivery of central partnerships and communication objectives
Responsibilities
- Account management of all central sponsorship and licensing contracts;
- Assist with development of new business proposals;
- Liaise with relevant parties to co-ordinate key SPL events;
- Implement and manage media guidelines across rights holders, clubs and non-rights holders;
- Organise Club and Partner Meetings;
- Be the first point of contact for all commercial and media queries from clubs;
- Ensure correct use of IP across all media;
- Co-ordinate delivery of agreed design projects;
- Manage all research projects including ongoing sponsorship evaluation programme;
- Assist with all supporter communications;
- Assist with management of website.
Requirements
- Graduate from Marketing/Sports discipline;
- Strong interpersonal communication skills;
- Professional approach;
- Ability to work independently with initiative and drive within tight timescales;
- Strong character with an ability to resolve problems through negotiation and diplomacy;
- Organised, with an eye for detail.
