Former Queen of the South, Airdrie United and Ayr United midfielder Ryan McCann has joined Football Conference side Stockport County and been allocated squad number 16.
The 29-year-old, who once scored from 84 yards out against Dundee as the Doonhamers defeated the Dens Park men on the way to the Scottish Cup Final in 2008, will team up with former Ross County Manager Willie McStay who is the club’s assistant manager.
Former Hamilton Accies midfielder Jon Routledge has also joined the Hatters.
