Queen of the South have signed former Scotland internationalist James McFadden on a short-term contract ahead of Saturday’s trip to Livingston.
The ex-Motherwell, Everton, Sunderland and Birmingham City forward left Fir Park in the summer and has been training with the Dumfries club.
Boss Gary Naysmith told the QOS website: "I'm delighted to have James join us. His experience will be invaluable, especially for the younger players, but he has come to challenge for a place in the team. At 34 years old we feel he still has a lot to offer".
