Heart of Midlothian head coach Derek McInnes has been named the Scottish Premiership Glen’s Manager of the Month for the second consecutive month, continuing an impressive start to his tenure at the club.
The Gorgie men remain top of the William Hill Premiership after victories over Rangers at Ibrox and Falkirk at Tynecastle Park.
McInnes, who was also named Manger of the Month for August, takes his team to Rugby Park this weekend to face his former side, Kilmarnock.
He said: "It’s nice to be recognised for this award again but it really is a team effort here, which has been highlighted by Lawrence Shankland and Alexandros Kyziridis also winning awards.
"It feeds into the positivity at the club. We’ve had a strong start and we hope to maintain it as we head into some big games."
