Queen’s Park head coach Gus MacPherson reckons Hamilton Accies have a real star in the making in striker Eamonn Brophy, who has scored seven times in eight league games on loan at the Spiders.
The 18-year-old netted for the fourth game in a row as the Spiders lost 3-1 to Berwick at the weekend and MacPherson said: “Eamonn has brought goals into our side and also has a tremendous work ethic.
“Technically he is very good for his age and he has a great awareness of what is happening around him. He has been a valuable addition to our squad and we are grateful to Hamilton for allowing him to play here.
“Without a shadow of a doubt, he will do well at Hamilton next season. He has shown at Queen’s Park that he can get goals and he has a bright future in the game.”
