Queen’s Park’s long-serving captain Tony Quinn has signed up for a 15th season after impressing Gus MacPherson in a defensive role.
The 32-year-old, who has played in every position apart from goalkeeper since joining in 1999, started the season as a striker but dropped back into defence last month and his no-nonsense approach has earned praise from his manager.
Quinn said: “This club is a big part of my life and I was delighted to be asked to sign on for another year. This season has not been the best results-wise but I am delighted to be part of the squad who will be looking to bounce back.”
