Montrose are hoping that the medical staff at Dundee United can get on-loan defender Luke Johnston fit for this weekend’s trip to Annan.
The 20-year-old centre back joined the Gable Endies last month on loan until the end of the season however he has only played once due to a hamstring problem.
Links Park boss Stuart Garden said: “Luke is still working at United during the week and the physio team there almost had him ready for Stirling Albion at the weekend.”
“Hopefully they can get him 100 per cent right for the trip to Annan.”
