Murphy lands League 2 award

Peter Murphy has been named Ladbrokes League 2 Manager of the Month for August.

The Annan Athletic boss saw his side pick up 10 points from 12 as they made an excellent start to the campaign.

The Galabankies drew 1-1 with Elgin City on the opening day then beat Cowdenbeath (2-1), Queen's Park (3-1) and Berwick Rangers (3-0).
