Naysmith claims League 1 prize

Stenhousemuir manager, Gary Naysmith, has been named Scottish League 1 Glen’s Manager of the Month for October.

The Warriors claimed two wins and a draw from their three league matches across the month.

Stenny started with a 3-1 win over Montrose and a 1-0 triumph over Cove Rangers before a 0-0 draw with Alloa Athletic.

Naysmith said: "The award is recognition for the consistency that the players have shown since the start of the season. 

"Their efforts, alongside the work done both on and off the pitch from the staff, are why I have received this award, so my thanks go out to everyone who has contributed to our season so far."
