New Elgin City manager Brian Irvine will take charge for the first time following his appointment in midweek.
But he will leave team selection for the clash with East Stirling to Jamie McKenzie who has been caretaker as the Highland club searched for a new manager to take over from the departed David Robertson. East Stirling will be without broken arm victim Andrew Brand and James Mackay.
Leaders Stenhousemuir have signed 19 year old midfielder Paul Cassidy from Partick Thistle and he will be included in the squad to visit Montrose although striker Colin Cramb is doubtful with a slight hamstring. Montrose's recently appointed manager Eddie Wolecki has signed midfielder Steve McManus from St Johnstone and Ian McLeod from Dundee North End but Mark Fotheringham is suspended.
Albion Rovers have signed keeper Gary McGlynn from Alloa in a swap deal with keeper Alan Creer moving to the second division club. But they will be without the suspended Scott Friel against Berwick who are still without injured keeper Craig Coyle.
Arbroath are without the suspended Alan Brazil against Cowdenbeath who have both Innes Ritchie and Darren McGregor banned.
East fife have released striker Ross Graham and both Euan Donaldson and Johnny Mitchell have gone to Linlithgow Rose. Meanwhile John Martin is suspended, Craig Johnston, Stuart Noble and Gary Kelly out while both Kevin Bain and Andy Campbell are doubtful against Queen's Park who wait for striker David Weatherston but could have Paul Harvey on the bench after coming through a training session on Thursday.
