Scotsport returns to TV screens live on Monday 31 July at 11.30pm for viewers in Scotland for another season of Bank of Scotland Premierleague highlights.  And this year, there's even more football than ever before.

Jim Delahunt will present a live, 90 minute show every Monday night from a brand new set at stv's state-of-the-art facilities at Pacific Quay.

The new-look Scotsport is part of a complete makeover across stv as a whole, following the company's recent rebranding to stv, its move to new premises, the launch of stv.tv and the revamp of its flagship programming.

Viewer interactivity reaches a whole new level on Scotsport, as viewers are encouraged to email their views, text their comments, enter competitions and vote on online polls.stv's new website, stv.tv, offers a fully comprehensive sports section for fans, including sports news, details on every league, manager interviews, sports polls and magic moments.

Jim will be joined by regular guests including Andy Walker, some of Scotland's best football analysts as well as commentary from the legendary Archie Macpherson.

Jim Delahunt said: "I can't wait for the start of the new season. Here's hoping it'll be as exciting, if not more, than last year's. This year we want our viewers to be a key part of the programme - they can interact with the show in a whole number of different ways and we know that they all have strong opinions about what's going on in the league."

Henry Eagles Head of Sport at stv added: "We've re-vamped the format of Scotsport for the 06-07 season and will be bringing viewers more of what they want - football from the best of the weekend's SPL action. It's a new set, a new look, a new level of interactivity and more football than ever before - quite simply, it's not to be missed."

The past two series of Scotsport have attracted excellent audiences, with around 250,000 viewers regularly tuning in. The programme consistently wins its slot, achieving the highest audience share of all the channels at this time.

Scotsport is the longest running sports programme in the world and is recognised as such in the Guinness Book of World Records.
