Queen of the South have secured sponsors for the two stands at their Palmerston Park ground in Dumfries. The Main Stand will now be known as the `Gates Power Transmission Stand` whilst the much newer East Stand become the `Rosefield Salvage Stand`.
It is hoped that the club will have appropriate new signage in place ahead of tomorrow’s Second Division match with Forfar.
Commercial Manager at the club, former defender Jim Thomson said, “These deals represent important commercial revenue to the club and we are grateful to the two companies involved for working on this partnership.”
“They are both regular commercial partners of the club and were a pleasure to deal with and I believe this will prove a mutually beneficial arrangement for the future."
