Bottom club Morton held Championship leaders Hamilton Accies 1-1 on Saturday in a game that saw the debut of former Raith Rovers, Dundee and Rangers striker Nacho Novo.

Accies took the lead on 33 minutes when they worked a short corner and, after Mickael Antoine-Curier's effort had been cleared off the line, Tony Andreu rammed the ball home.

The leveller came with 20 minutes left when Slovakian frontman Michal Habai rose to send home a powerful header.

Morton manager Allan Moore said: "We are disappointed at not beating the league leaders and that shows you how well we played. Nacho still has a bit to go on his fitness but him and Michal up front will get goals."
