Glasgow based goalkeeping set-up, Shot Stoppers Coaching Academy, who have been operational for almost 20 years, are offering the opportunity to any goalkeeper released by senior clubs - including Pro-Youth level - to work with them over the summer as they look for a new team.
Pre-season sessions are being organised in Glasgow, and their own Academy base on the Southside of the city.
Head Group Coach Stephen Bryceland said: "We staged this for the first time last year and several freed senior goalies, plus custodians from junior football and those moving up from Under-21 level, came along. The feedback was fantastic."
"It is ideal preparation before goalkeepers move onto pre-season training/running elsewhere."
Among the Shot Stoppers "old boys" are ex-Dumbarton and Arbroath goalkeeper Mikey White, who signed for Petershill Juniors last summer following those specialist sessions, and Scotland internationalist David Marshall, who joined his old Academy two years ago before reporting for Cardiff City's pre-season programme.
