Dunfermline have started negotiations with striker Faissal El Bakhtaoui about extending his contract.
Jefferies said: “We have started looking to extend Faissal’s stay as he broken through this year and done well. He deserves a new deal and has worked hard since coming over a couple of years ago with lots of Futsal experience but little experience of 11-a-side football.
“We always saw potential and he is a guy the players like as he works his socks off for the team."
