Former Hamilton Accies and Alloa striker Scott Pitman has swapped Junior sides just a month after signing for the Broxburn Athletic side that his dad, former Partick Thistle, Dundee and American internationalist full back Steve Pitman manages.
The teenage front-man has joined East Region Champions Bo’ness with the Newtown Park Director of Football Allan McGonigal saying, “I saw Broxburn recently and Scott was the best player on the park. I am pleased we have been able to bring him here and he goes straight into our squad for our Scottish Cup tie at Fort William.”
