Former Scotland B defender Phil McGuire is looking to build a career in coaching and management after being released by Third Division Montrose although he would be happy to combine both roles.
The 33-year-old who started his career at Aberdeen before spells with Doncaster Rovers, Dunfermline, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, AEK Larnaka and Arbroath, and was called into full international squads, also picked up a number of coaching qualifications during his playing days.
McGuire said: “I have had 17 years as a Professional and I am now looking to progress my career into coaching and management as well as playing.”
“I feel I have a lot still to offer on the playing front but I also want to start coaching and would be happy to speak to any clubs who would be interested in bringing me in.”
