Former Celtic and Scotland Youth player Carlo Monti is looking to get back into the senior game after leaving First Division Morton in the summer to find a new club.
The 21-year-old was offered a new deal at Cappielow however, as the terms were less than he was on previously, Monti became a free agent and decided to try his luck elsewhere.
Moves to Dundee and Stenhousemuir failed to materialise and Monti has been playing regularly with a team in the south side of Glasgow to keep his fitness levels high and he is now hoping to get back into the senior ranks.
Monti said, “Things never worked out in the summer in the manner I hoped that they would. I have been playing so have kept my fitness up and I hope that I can get back to the senior game quickly.”
