Player Availability - Chris McCluskey

Goalkeeper looks for new club

Chris McCluskeyFormer Brechin City and Stenhousemuir goalkeeper Chris McCluskey has turned his back on the sunshine of Spain to find a new club in Scotland.

McCluskey, who was the first choice shot-stopper with the Warriors for 3 seasons, and picked up seven Player of the Year awards, lost his place after being sent off against Arbroath last autumn.

The 24-year-old left Ochilview in April to live with his family who have moved to Spain and despite offers to play there, McCluskey has decided to come home and resume his career.

McCluskey said, “I am determined to get back into the game in Scotland. I really enjoyed my first two seasons at Stenhousemuir and all in all I played in over 60 games for them. Hopefully that experience will stand me in good stead.”
