The nephew of Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is putting off the chance to play professionally in America to complete his University studies and keep playing football in Scotland.
Nineteen year old central midfielder Kieran Coyle had a three year spell at Partick Thistle before moving to Clyde last season where his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.
Coyle said, “I have been offered the opportunity to play professionally in America for the forthcoming season, however I want to continue with my degree at University. I spoke to my uncle about leaving Clyde and he agreed that I needed a fresh challenge so I am looking for a new club to do that with whilst I carry on studying.”
