Midfielder Paul Currie, who was with Berwick Rangers and Hamilton Accies last season is searching for a new club after red tape forced him to play out the last four months of last season at Musselburgh Juniors.
The Accies paid a transfer fee for the 26-year-old last August after starting the season at Shielfield and scored twice for Billy Reid’s side in 10 appearances, however he was released in January.
UEFA rules only allow players to play for two clubs in the one season and therefore Currie could not play at a senior level until the start of season 2012/13, however he has kept in shape by playing with the Olivebank Stadium.
Currie said, “Unfortunately I could not move anywhere in January but having played nearly 100 games at a senior level I am keen to get back in.”
